Family portraits work with a custom field in Planning Center. To create the custom field in Planning Center go to People and under the People tab click the gear on the right side and select Custom Fields.
On the left side, you add a tab and call it however you would like (Adjace may be most helpful). If you already have Adjace Opt-Outs in a custom field, you can add the family portrait field to that. Once you have your tab, add a custom field of type "File" to the tab.
This new field is where the family portrait will be stored. The family portrait must be saved under the primary's profile.
Your church folks can upload their family portraits from Adjace. Let's look at the setup of family portraits on Adjace. In settings under "Layout/Content," you will find where you choose the custom field.

As an administrator, to show family portraits in the directory you must go back to "Layout/Content." In "Edit Layout/Contents" you must group by household and not display individual portraits like so:
Family portraits will allow you to save folks' individual portraits separately from their family portraits.
